Gail Muliner Ovington has a B.Mus. and a Dip.MUED from UBC, PDP from Simon Fraser, and an ARCT from the Royal Conservatory. She has taught in her studio and in the public schools for years and continues to be very active as an accompanist and performer. Most recently, Gail gave her own pipe organ recital in Vancouver, performed a Handel organ concerto with the Brandenburg Orchestra, was the rehearsal accompanist for Vivace Chorale and also organist with the Brandenburg Orchestra in their recent Amadeus concert in Kamloops. She is a member of the Royal Canadian College of Organists and performs on pipe organ in Vancouver about four times a year.
Gail has a Yamaha grand piano and a 2 manual Roland C380 organ in her studio in South Kamloops. Beginners to intermediate students in piano and those interested in classical organ, church service playing and/ or full pedalboard technique are welcome. Tuesday teaching only. Casual lessons for organ students are very welcome.
